OnMute is a band composed of talented individuals who have developed a strong connection within the San Francisco community. The band members come from the west coast, specifically California and the Pacific Northwest, and possess a diverse range of instrumental skills. They play guitar, saxophone, harmonica, bass, drums, and piano, and are well-versed in electronic and looping technology. Their unique sound is inspired by a fusion of genres, including pop, blues, rock, reggae, and EDM, which have all contributed to their unique genre.
Meet the Band
Vocalist: Rachelle (Shelly) Littman, also known as Rachelle Rosegold, is a San Francisco-based vocalist, songwriter, producer, DJ, and harmonist. She has been performing for over 20 years and holds a BA in communications and minor in music theory, as well as a MA in Marketing Intelligence from University of San Francisco. Rachelle was formally a radio show host at KUSF, and is now the lead singer of OnMute. Her musical influences are described as bedroom pop with soulful vocals and deep house rhythms. She is considered a soprano and covers genres ranging from pop and Broadway to rock and blues.

Guitarist: Noah Hoffman is a classical guitarist with over 20 years of experience playing both electric and acoustic guitar. He has studied music theory at UC Santa Cruz and Cabrillo College, and holds a BA from San Jose State University in jazz music theory and performance. His background mainly has been focused on electronic music production and solo guitar performance, Additionally, he is a creative engineer who has worked at Adobe for over 15 years. Now being the lead guitarist of OnMute, his musical abilities shine through with influences ranging from jazz, electronic, pop, rock, experimental, and world music.

Drummer: Joshua Campbell, hailing from Seattle, WA, has been playing music, producing, filming, and editing captivating media for over 20 years. He is a multifaceted musician who writes songs, plays drums, saxophone, guitar, bass, produces, and sings. He holds a BA in Communications from Santa Clara University, with a focus on media, radio, and television, and has worked at Apple enabling creators for 12 years. His musical influences include pop, EDM, reggae, alternative, indie, and rock.

Bass: Gabriel Littman born in San Jose, CA has been playing bass for over 20 years, drawing influences from rock, ska, R&B, and pop. He holds a BA in computer science from UC Santa Cruz and works full-time in the fintech industry. He is also a member of the cover band, Musical Welfare, and plays the ukulele, produces music, and builds modular synths.
